With the implementation of the Data Platform, along with the integration of ELT pipelines and the use of DBT for data transformation, Minno now has a powerful system to gain insights from their diverse datasets. This enables Minno to conduct more in-depth analyses on subscriptions, subscriber viewing behavior, the impact of marketing channels, and other relevant use cases.

Minno has access to a lot of proprietary data, including marketing, clickstream, and transactional data. Most of the data is event-based, covering content searches, views, plays, and durations. This data is spread across a wide range of providers and platforms.
Challenge
Minno wants to gain more insights into subscriptions, subscriber viewing behavior, the impact of marketing channels, and many other use cases. How do you unlock all this data and centralize it so that all data sets can be combined? There was an existing reporting system based on Tableau, but Minno wanted to migrate to a more flexible, performance-oriented dashboarding solution.
Solution
To deliver these insights, we developed a Data Platform based on Snowflake. Using various ELT pipelines via SaaS solutions like Fivetran and Segment, all data is brought into Snowflake for storage. We then use DBT to transform the data into the desired data model. On this data model, we have developed various Looker reports and dashboards.
