i-spark B.V.<\/span>, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under KvK number <\/span>73401587,<\/span> is a data and AI consultancy based in Groningen, the Netherlands. We run the website i-spark.nl.<\/span><\/p>

We are the data controller for the personal data described here. That means we decide what we collect and why.<\/span><\/p>

What we collect<\/b><\/h2>

When you fill in a form on our site, such as the form to download our guide, we collect:<\/span><\/p>

  • Your name<\/span><\/li>
  • Your professional email address<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

    Our forms may also record basic technical details automatically, such as the date and time you submitted and the page you submitted from.<\/span><\/p>

    We do not ask for sensitive personal data through our forms, and we’d rather you didn’t send any.<\/span><\/p>

    Why we use it, and our legal basis<\/b><\/h2>

    Send you what you asked for.<\/b> If you request a guide or resource, we use your email to deliver it and confirm your request. Legal basis: taking steps at your request.<\/span><\/p>

    Send you our newsletter, if you opted in.<\/b> If you ticked the box to receive Let’s debrief, our newsletter, we use your email to send it. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it anytime.<\/span><\/p>

    Reply to you.<\/b> If you contact us, we use your details to answer. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to you.<\/span><\/p>

    Keep records of consent.<\/b> We keep a record of who signed up and what they agreed to, so we can show consent was given. Legal basis: our legitimate interest and our legal obligations.<\/span><\/p>

    We do not use your data to make automated decisions about you, and we do not profile you.<\/span><\/p>

    Who we share it with<\/b><\/h2>

    We do not sell your data to anyone.<\/span><\/p>

    We use a few trusted services to run the site and handle sign-ups. They only process your data on our instructions:<\/span><\/p>

    • Our website host, Kinsta, which stores the site and its data.<\/span><\/li>
    • Slack, which we use to get a notification when someone signs up. Your name and email are sent to our private Slack channel.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

      Sending data outside the EEA<\/b><\/h2>

      Some of our services are based outside the European Economic Area. Slack, for example, is a US company, so your name and email may be transferred to the United States. Where that happens, we rely on the safeguards the GDPR allows, such as standard contractual clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.<\/span><\/p>

      How long we keep it<\/b><\/h2>

      We keep your data only as long as we need it.<\/span><\/p>

      • If you signed up for the newsletter, we keep your details until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them.<\/span><\/li>
      • If you downloaded a guide but did not opt in to anything else, we keep the record for 12 months and then delete it.<\/span><\/li><\/ul>

        You can ask us to delete your data sooner at any time.<\/span><\/p>
