Secondlife Inkjets ran into the challenge of not getting a good overview of some frequently requested insights. The desire was for a clear overview of their sales by customer, sales by product category and sales by relationship manager. And also a clear overview of the number of billed orders per day. All this data was in the accounting package Exact Online, but finding and bringing it together turned out to be not easy at all!

The goal

The goal was to be able to access the data from Exact Online in a clear, usable dashboard. Together with Yalmar, we determined the information needs, created the data design based on that, and looked for the right data to go with it. With Dataddo, we retrieve data from Exact Online. We then store this data in Google Big Query (a data warehouse in the cloud). From Google Big Query, we unlock the data in Klipfolio, so Secondlife Inkjets can now oversee all important data at a glance.
