Dr. Leenarts has been helping people with no-nonsense skin care products since 2015. Products without unnecessary additives that really do something for your skin. Dr. Leenarts products are sold by all well-known retailers, and more and more people are buying directly through dr leenarts.com. i-spark helps Dr. Leenarts gain insight into the sales performance of Dutch, German and Danish web shops as well as their drivers. We do this by building a data platform, performing ongoing (marketing) analysis and visualizing KPIs in various dashboards, among other things.

Insight to Drive Sales

Dr. Leenarts aims to boost sales through her own webshops. This starts with gaining insight – understanding visitor numbers from various marketing channels, statistics from sent emails, and sales data for products and categories. How do you unlock all this data in one central place for combined analysis? And how do you translate this into actionable insights that contribute to Dr. Leenarts’ goals? These are the questions we tackled at i-spark.

From Data to Insight

i-spark developed a data platform for Dr. Leenarts, integrating data from various sources. Currently, the platform includes web statistics from Google Analytics 4 and data from the Woocommerce webshop. The platform is designed to easily accommodate additional data sources in the future.

Modeling and Visualization

We implemented dbt to transform data into the desired data model, which is then linked to Looker Data Studio. Here, we visualize the data that Dr. Leenarts wants to focus on and that aids in her further growth. Additionally, this data model is used for analyses, such as identifying the most valuable customers and improving the ‘Club Leenarts’ loyalty program.
